ABOUT ME
HELLO!
I’m Vanessa Van Meerhaeghe, a visual artist with a lifelong passion for creativity and storytelling. Born in Ronse, Belgium, on June 28, 1974, I initially pursued a career in fashion design, dedicating over 20 years to the industry. However, my journey eventually led me to the world of visual art, where I found a deeper connection to my true artistic voice.
Drawing inspiration from my background in fashion design, along with my love for nature, places, patterns, and colors, my artwork is defined by bold lines, vibrant hues, and intricate details.My style is both illustrative and narrative-driven, with a particular focus on figures, especially women, who often serve as central elements in my work.
